I use gdm as the login manager- it has a lot of (mostly unused) dependencies, but a really useful bunch of features (such as auto- login). If you're trying to stay light on the hd space, xdm should be good enough. As for configuration, look at various xfce4 themes as well as ~.config/xfce4/xinitrc Do you need to allow the users to shutdown? There's a FAQ answer here: (search for "xfsm-shutdown-helper") http://www.xfce.org/index.php?page=documentation&lang=en Light-weight basic applications for xfce4: http://www.foo-projects.org/~benny/xfce/apps.html Also, xfce4 themes: http://themes.freshmeat.net/browse/963/ Is there something in particular that you would like to change? |-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|- AgentM [EMAIL PROTECTED] |-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|- _______________________________________________ CWE-LUG mailing list [email protected] http://www.cwelug.org/ http://www.cwelug.org/archives/ http://www.cwelug.org/mailinglist/
