Federal high-velocity loads.  The American Eagle is also quite good but
expect the occasional feed failure as the bullet may stub on the feed
ramp.  Eley has lubricant or something on the bullet which rapidly
gums up the feed ramp and causes feed failures, I don't think they
had semi-autos in mind, although it might be an idea to try their pistol
ammo in a 10/22.

The problem with using the Federals is that a lot of people have vermin
control conditions on their FAC's which require them to use HP subsonics for
safety reasons. It is generally hard to fault the Eley product although I
tend to agree with you about the excessive lubricant.
