Not sure what you mean by human nature Chris. We are born with physical attributes similar to an animal. In fact our bodies are really animals and as such we have certain innate or instinctual knowledge and behavior patterns for survival at all costs but we receive education three ways, Discovery, Experience and Revelation and if the knowledge we acquire in these manners is not realistic then we cannot make proper choices to create and maintain unity or satisfy our basic needs. All problems are the result of unsatisfied needs, wants and desires and these appear on all three levels of animal, human and spiritual natures. I cannot go into this in detail but suffice it to say that the reason we have crime, corruption etc. is the result of improper education. If we had a holistic education, i.e. the type that presents knowledge about our physical, human and spiritual natures and environments we would be able to make better choices. In our rehab. classes we teach the inmates about reality and how to face and deal intelligently with it. But our school system is tied in with economics and politics and there is corruption in both these systems so education is designed for purposes other than to create free thinking people who can independently search for truth and reality. What we do is try to mold people for political, economic and religious purposes so as to perpetuate the culture.
