Yes, I am aware of the gadgets on desktop. I figured it was something along those lines, but I could not click on it or anything. Which if it was a normal gadget on desktop, it would have all the same function on click, mouse over, etc. That has only happened once ever, and not sure how. > > The arrow animation stuck on the desktop, I know for a fact I have > > seen more than once. I do have folders on my desktop. But the stuck animation ends up over nothing. No icons, files or folders. Where ever the EFM window was, and the folder inside that with the stuck animation. That is where it remains after closing EFM and the animation keeps going on desktop. Where I do for sure have folders on the desktop. But the stuck animation is off on its own, over nothing. It is related to EFM + Desktop, as it happens when I accidentally drag or drop or something. It is never intentional, the action that causes it to get stuck. Thus I cannot replicate easily if at all. > > > > I do not believe you can restart EFM like you can E. I will try > > > > to restart that process or something next time to see if that > > > > fixes. I surely will, but this I am not sure I can replicate via steps. It tends to happen on accident. Miss click something in a window, ends up on desktop, maybe some sort of drag operation that launches a new EFM window. Honestly no clue, I spent like 30 minutes the other day trying to replicate my insanity that causes such during work flow. > i have to narrow down what and why and at least for the above unless > it was icons on the desktop i can't so how it's even possible, so i'm > guessing it was something else. Sure, I wish I could provide more concrete information and details. It could be something I borked in my theme, or in the theme I based mine off. It could be many things. Offhand, I would say maybe EDJE is not getting the signal to end the animation. Why it keeps going on the desktop, could be due to having folders on the desktop. Even though the stuck animation is not over anything. Though opening EFM never ends it, so maybe its not EDJE but something else. Its all guessing till I can at least provide a screenshot to show, and ideally steps to replicate. I would not hold your breath. Its been a bit since I last seen it, and maybe fixed with newer EFL... -- William L. Thomson Jr.
