One thing that worries me is you said that you moved your Palm folder and
then moved you Entourage conduit into it. If you were using the entourage
conduit before, it should have already been in the conduits folder inside
you Palm folder -- you shouldn't have had to move it separately.
Basically, you Palm folder (wherever it is) should have the HotSync Manager,
Conduit Manager, Serial Port Monitor, Users folder, and a "Conduits" folder
with all of the installed conduits in it. As long as these items are
present, then everything should work fine. FYI, it will probably have a lot
of other junk as well.
Also, If it was working where you had it before, then I wouldn't worry about
it. The reason she told you that was that the default location for the
"Palm" folder is the root level of your HD. I moved mine into my
applications folder with no problems, so if you did the same, then don't
worry about it.
