Ditto -- I keep my Palm folder on a non-startup drive (I have my drive
partitioned into three volumes: a system/startup volume, small download/junk
volume, and everything else volume). The Palm folder is inside a "Data"
folder on the third volume. I've never had a problem with this.

I also do not keep the Palm Desktop stuff on my computer any more, now that
I use Entourage. All I keep is the HotSync Manager, conduits, Serial Port
monitor, etc.

I fact, I also don't keep my Microsoft User Data folder (with my E'rage
Identity folder, etc.) in the Docs folder or in the Office2001 folder. I
keep it in a special place that makes it more convenient for me to do
backups. Placing an alias to it in the System Preferences folder keeps
Entourage happy.
