Come on Eric, play fair! If an installer messed with things it wasn't supposed to you'd be crying foul in an instant. Yet here you are asking why an installer can't just ignore a users file privileges and change things the user has said it has no right to? Privileges are there for a reason. NO installer should EVER override the privileges set on any file. The installer should maybe be a little more verbose in explaining the problem, but it certainly shouldn't change things. -- Barry Wainwright <http://www.barryw.net> If you don't know where you're going You probably won't end up there. -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:Entourage-Talk-Off@;lists.letterrip.com> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
