Title: Re: Shared mailbox problem
It’s interesting that you say that, because the users workaround right now is to look at this mailbox in OWA, claiming that’s more accurate.

I wanted to point our mobile users to the front-end, but it would not work. I found that we are probably suffering from a known problem with ISA servers ( http://support.microsoft.com/kb/909268/EN-US/ ) And, our Exchange admin claims we can’t make the authentication changes noted due to , and I’ll quote: “
certain security and user-friendly
requirements that have dictated the OWA design”

What rationale can you site for pointing Entourage to the font-end as standard procedure?

I haven't heard of that problem before, although we're only using Entourage on a fairly limited basis.  The first thing that jumped out at me in your email though is that you are pointing Entourage at your back-end servers.  You should ALWAYS point Entourage at your front-end server.  Maybe try that and see if it helps things at all.

I guess I have to assume that no responses equates to no one ever hearing this before??

This is killing us, HUGE step backwards in productivity from Outlook 2001.

As an update, if a message is moved by a PC user from the inbox to a users inbox subfolder, the Entourage user will see the message moved almost right away, at next sync for sure.

If an Entourage user moves a message, another Entourage user or PC will not see that move reflect for anywhere from 2-5 minutes.

There is DEFINITELY a back-end synchronization problem. This should warrant a Hotfix!!!
