I did note this thread but agree with Ray. I use the 28-135 regularly on
the -3 and -1v bodies and have no complaints re AF performance. Given the
lens general purpose nature, I seriously doubt that it will cause anybody
concern in this area. I often use this on travel assignments instead of my
28-70L due to its more versatile focal length and lighter weight.
