Speaking of sports-events, when the most noticable camera-related stuff you see is a
row of white "L"s, that's advertizing all by itself...
I did some research before I bought my first SLR (EOS 300), and found Canon to be the
most appealing... Good bodies, user-friendliness, good lens-lineup, quality optics
even in the cheap lenses, USM and IS. I didn't think much about ads, I went to the
shop and tried the R2k, and bought it after five minutes... Didn't even try the Nikon
equivalent...
