The best thing about Minolta is the Maxxum 7.  This is one great 
camera.  I've never seen such a sophisticated camera be so simple to 
operate.  The lenses are excellent, but you don't get USM, IS, or some of 
the selection.

The best thing about Nikon is the eye relief and lots of pro lenses.

Canon has USM, IS, and any lens you could want.  If only they made the 
Maxxum 7 instead of Minolta.

I love the Maxxum 7 as my primary camera.  The Maxxum 7 is that good.  I'm 
probably going to make Canon my secondary camera for the IS.  I can't find 
a body I like, but likely an EOS 3.
