Maybe not "huge" but there is certainly a market for a camera like that. >Whether or not it has 8, 12, or 16 MPs is >less important as I believe you can generate great print at up to 13X19 >inch size (from my experience) with anything greater that 5 MPs. True. Still I have trouble finding a reason to buy an 8 MP 1D mkII if a DSLR with the 3's specs is available for $1500 less and has more pixels. >Why do I want full frame? I'm with you here! 1.6x sensors have too much DOP. I'm about to buy a 20D or 350D. A Canon 10-22mm would be perfect to fill my wide angle needs but spending 800 Euros on a lens that will only work on 1.6x sensors doesn't seem reasonable. What if Canon drops the 1.6 crop factor in the future? 10-22mm owners will be left with a quite expensive paperweight. I wish Canon told its customers which crop factors they wish to maintain. I'm pretty sure that a camera line up with 3 different crop factors will no last long. At least 1 will disappear in the future. >I'm happy with my 20D, but would really like a full >frame sensor at a reasonable price (is $2500 reasonable???) Yes, if you consider the price or full-frame sensor cameras. However I believe it is still too expensive for most amateurs. I know it is for me. * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
