After this weekend, I totally agree with you Mike.

I went to the Phoenix Plug In on Saturday. There were about 8 Tesla S's, 6
Roadsters, 20 Leafs, 15 Volts, maybe 5 or so other OEM EV's as opposed to 4
conversions, including a pedal power electric 3 wheeler.

Today in Tucson there were about 4 S's, 4 Roadsters, 4 Leafs, 4 Volts, 1
BMWi3, 1 MiEV and maybe 5 conversions. Ford and Nissan both send reps to
talk up their EV's.

My numbers may be a little off, but you get the idea.

So it is evident that the OEM EV's are becoming more and more popular. All
you have to do now is plug them in, wait over night or however long and
drive till you need to charge again. No more worrying about adding water to
the batteries or making sure everything is balanced or wondering how much it
will cost to upgrade to Lithium etc. Much, much easier and user friendly...

Here in Tucson the Plug In EVent was held at Bookmans Sports Center. There
were 2 Level II chargers and 2 Level III chargers, all installed by GoE3
from Phoenix. The chargers are powered by a 50kW PV array.  Tesla's were
sipping at the Level II and Leafs with their CHAdeMo ports were at the Level
lll's. By the way the BMW had a Combo charging port.

It was pretty neat to see all the EV's gathered in one place, well 2 places,
and especially nice to have people asking questions about the EV's. The
public is starting to get educated...
