What happens in cases of telepathy is that certain, but not necessarily all of them, are encompassed by a new look-back-at-itself of self-reference, and then that encompassing disappears. For example, in cases of dream telepathy, some might dream that it is at a high school party, while the other at a university party. One might dream that it drinks Cola, the other might dream that it drinks Fanta. This clearly is a case of dream telepathy. The reason why it is not perfect is that only some sub-elements are being encompassed by self-reference. So self-reference, since it is unformal, doesn't have to act only upon the highest level of a particular consciousness, but can also act on its parts, because the parts themselves are forms of manifestation of self-reference.
