Hey Gloria, That's what I thought at first, but Smookie's gums are not at all red or swollen. I think Kerry may have hit it on the head because Smookie does have herpes (or I assume so, due to her severe corneal ulcers when I first adopted her) and that is one of the symptoms because the virus replicates in the tonsils. Who knew? Taking her to vet today at 2:15. Will let you guys know how it goes. Thank you!!!!
