Have you tried the repair function of the Protel Installer? I have no idea
if it is smart enough to cope with service packs - if it does not overwrite
newer (by date or version) files then this may not fix your problem. If it
does overwrite newer files then you may need to re-install SP6 and then
what will the Add/remove programs list? Multiple copies of SP6?
I would tend to uninstall all service packs (in reverse) that appear in the
add/remove programs. I have manually uninstalled Protel service packs
after uninstalling just the main application but it was messy and required
searching through the registry for "Protel" and then making a decision on
what I wanted to do with each key - it was not worth the fuss.
I assume you know, but will say anyway for completeness, that when you
re-install you only need install SP6 - you do not need to go through all
the service packs.
Of course in the time taken to wait for reply emails and then reading them
you could have uninstalled all the SPs anyway... :-)
