Arthur,

Keep you powder dry and take no notice of those who attack the poster rather
than the post.

A number of younger Georgists favor a Citizen's Dividend. This would involve
collecting the Rent (which is produced by the community anyway) and giving
it back as a dividend.

The difference from a Basic Income is that this isn't a handout, but a
return to people of values they created.

There are "n" number of ways to organize an economy. Mine would include a
basic income but before that happens, citizens would have to understand
that with rights comes responsibility.

What would that system look like? Would it include a Basic Income for all?
What else is necessary for such a system? And, then, how do we begin to
change the current system to more closely resemble that system of "truth,
beauty, justice and harmony"?

It is all too easy to be critical of the system. I am too.

Sure it would be nice to have a system of truth, beauty, justice and
harmony. But ours is not that system. And for that matter there is no
system past or present that has or has had those characteristics.
