I have never tried anything else, mostly because it seemed to be working, and because I an existing on a pension. If I was still living in the Bay Area, near computer stores, I may have just hiked down there and bought lots of stuff.
As mentioned, the police report indicates that I had a bicycle accident in 95. I disagree and think that someone attempted to kill me and just did a bad job of it. I have a few scratches, the bicycle was rideable after replacing the fromt wheel, but my head was crushed. That doesn't make sense. Anyway I have been on foot or bicycle since 93. I do not have a license, and do have a permanent blind spot in both eyes, so I haven't applied for a new license. Most everything is ordered over the phone, paid for by money order, and received by FedEx. I rarely get to the malls here, and this is IBM country, insurance and all that. I-B-M, sstands for I'm Buying Mac, doesn't it? I'll check a Mac catalog, and perhaps order something else. Sorry about the typos in my previous message. That was 'SpeedDisk', not peedDisk.
