Excuse me if you have already done or know this, but on most install
disks, there is an option to un-install. Sometimes it is hidden, you have to
look for it under a drop-down option menu usually. If the disk does not have
it, then the next easiest way to get rid of an app is to use Sherlock. Look
your app up in any number of different ways, and trash right from Sherlock.
I helps to re-start and re-build the desk top afterward before
re-installing.
At least this works up to OS 9. Not sure about X.
