i filed a bug report against glib recently. all of the people involved could have easily told me to go away. another thing is that it is about an extremely fine point in the build system between the gtk+ stack of software, one of the gnu build tools and also debian. i am mentioning it now (and will be showing the bug itself) because it is three (mostly) volunteer groups who are taking the time to look at a problem in the build system for me. does SUSE have a method to communicate like that? here is my bug report: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=322885 it is not so important what the bug report is about so much as three different groups of developers are needing to look at it before it gets fixed and are. it is not as big of a problem as not being able to build a package on the distribution. compared to this problem, my bug report makes me look like a nitpick control freak -- in all honesty. i think that a SUSE developer should be contacted and i would like to see how the contact is handled. can either of you do this and get back to the list on how it goes? carol _______________________________________________ Gimp-user mailing list [email protected] https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
