Does anyone know if the Carb heat is automaticly applied whenever the throttle is closed beyond the half way point. through a special linkage arrangement . I ran across an article that I got sometime back from AOPA and it indicated that this was the case. Don't sound quite right to me. I think I feel more confortable applying Carb heat the old fashon way by pulling the handle Let me know if you have any info. Coupes originally came with such an interconnect. In the overwhelming majority, they were removed. I've heard reports of one or two planes that still have them. If you look under the cowling, and the carb heat linkage moves when you close the throttle, that would be a major hint that yours was one of the rare examples :-) Greg ================================================================== TO UNSUBSCRIBE go to: http://ercoupers.com/lists.htm
