After such a big payment back to HIC, these Dr. are very > carefuk afterwards. agree this is worthwhile "education" but would be amazed if the majority of situations where the prescription is outside of guidelines ever get flagged, let alone prosecuted it is more akin to getting al capone for tax evasion - it is leverage to prosecute where you have it in for someone for other less provable reasons Ash, I know of at least 2 Dr's who had a visit and had to pay back some money to the PBS. I frequently attend talks, where speakers claim nobody ever gets fined, untill I clarify the point. Have seen some Dr's look very worried afterwards.
