As you started out saying, it is the consequences that count. People
by and large remember Sugathakumari as a romantic environmentalist,
someone who does not care about people. (As far as I know, she was
also among those who also romanticized the lives of Adivasis). I think
it is a crime (I am no priest to talk about sins) to turn majority of
the people of the state against environmental activism, no matter how
good one's intentions are.
