But it can punch a hole in a fusion reactor or NPU, neither of which is good.
Not good, certainly, but there could be multiple reactors and reserve
power cells. If you take a look at the 3E damage rules, a TL10 or TL11
AFV should be able to survive a few hundred points of damage -- surely
a mission kill, but it should be able to limp home. The worst would be
hits on the main weapon or a crew station.
