Just IPL Prod point the IPLPARMS on the HMC to the place where IODF05 if is located? >> Wouldn't monkey with IPLPARMS or HMC right now. All you have to do is ACTIVATE with TEST on PROD pointing to the cataloged SYS1.IODF05. If that's successful then can activate for real. If something fails and you have to go back should be able to IPL as normal and get the old IPLPARMS. If it's successful can make a new LOAD05 or whatever you want to call it specifying the new SYS1.IODF05 then when you get ready to IPL on the HMC you pass it a parm of uuuu05 where uuuu is the four digit UCB of the and 05 is the LOAD05 member of SYS1.IPLPARM that you want to use. That may be backwards. As Doug noted if you made you IODF05 based on the PROD IODF then he tokens should match and the dynamic activation should be OK otherwise we gonna have to go another way. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
