Because many machines are covered under Applecare. It is a 3 year 
coverage

rather I'm just surprised that Apple doesn't have it available to run in 
both OS X and 9. I realize a lot of machines are covered by it ;) But 
I'm surprised that as it ships out for newer machines, it would include 
programs available to run in both. and i'm complaining for the sake of 
complaining ;) I just don't like running both operating systems.
