Because many machines are covered under Applecare. It is a 3 year coverage > policy. Some of the machines that are still under the 3 year umbrella > are > not capable of running OS X. But all newer OS X capable machines are > completely capable of running OS 9. That's why. Your FP iMac shipped > with > OS 9. Why are you complaining again? ;-) >
rather I'm just surprised that Apple doesn't have it available to run in both OS X and 9.
