I don't feel that I am defending them - simply stating that there are some who have had good experiences with Applecare and who will continue to buy it in the future. Applecare is a choice. You don't HAVE to buy it. I guess it is just cheap peace of mind for me. Kind of like insurance....I pay for house insurance on my home each month. In the 6 years that we have lived here, we have never needed to claim on it. However, almost everyweek, you see these people standing outside their burning apartment building, crying because they didn't have any insurance. Sure, it costs some up front but it pays off BIG TIME down the line should you need it. BTW ... What choices would you like to see them offer in Applecare ?
