The current prices of apple products is geared towards covering the incurred cost of the 1 year warranty. If Apple provided a 3 year warranty, the price of the extra years would just get tacked onto the sale price the same way the 1 year warranty already is. So then we get MORE people bitching about Macs costing so much. (don't yell at Apple about this one, this is the way the entire computer industry works.
