OH WOW! Rather than answer any of the statements I've made, you shoot them down in one fell swoop with some bitter anti-corporate hate mongering. Nice shot, bravo. In all seriousness...... just how much programming experience do you have? Ever worked on a project with over a million lines of code? How about an OS project? My guess is that you haven't; I have. Apple could spend most of a decade ironing out a new OS, written mostly from scratch, and no matter how experienced or well meaning their programmers are, there are going to be bugs. Period. They cannot be avoided. Why? Programmers are human, too. They make mistakes. No number of eyes will EVER be able to catch all the bugs in a program that spans millions of lines of code, much less in an OS. There is no refuting this; it's simply not possible. BIND, the quasi-internet-standard DNS server software, has been around for more than a decade. Thousands of programmers have been working on it. They still find bugs (sometimes fairly serious ones) all the time. Given this, if you don't want 10.1.1, 10.1.2, etc, releases, your other option is for Apple to have shipped OS X and then ceased development of OS X altogether.
