Maybe you're right, but I already have both USB ports in use.  True, I could plug and 
unplug everything constantly, but that gets on one's nerves after a while.  I have no 
qualms to getting inside the iMac and messing around with the hardware.  I actually 
kinda enjoy it.  Besides, I need to replace the clock battery and that's a real pain 
without taking it apart.
