A relative is interested in getting an ipod, I don't know which of the 3, to connect via a firewire to USB cable to her 333Mhz strawberry imac.

AFAIK, there is no cable/adapter that will allow a FW device to connect to a Mac USB port.

Hi Mary,

That part I do know or at least was told by a tech at B&H Photo, that there is a FireWire to USB cable for $18.95, if I remember the price correctly, that would work in this type of iMac. They are a pretty savvy professional digital supplier.
