If you had quoted more of the statement I bet it would look a whole lot less ominous to most folks:

Its hard to resist a web mail client that lets you do wysiwyg email. I've had about enough of Imail's blasted textarea boxes. And for a product thats priced like this it sure is making it easy for me to give it a try. For $150 I can get hold of a fully functional 250-user edition? And a free trial is there?
I have a client that uses SM to send out his daily newsletter. About 2000 pieces daily. Not much more than that. I've played with that SM just a bit but its an older version. Probably not representative of the current v2.x.
Merak seems to be the big kid on the block and SmarterMail is the promising upstart.
