As soon as I left work on Friday I realized that I hadn't sent source
code.  *sheesh*  It's attached this time.

I've tested on DirectX, OpenGL, one machine with 128meg, the other with
64meg.  Also tried the beta JDK (1.3.1 beta) and got the same problem
with no stack trace.

You will notice a "Lotsa Memory" button that does just that... allocates
lots of memory.  I should take this out because it breaks without
pressing it.

And John, yes, I have seen the "self-healing" behavior... very strange
and unexplainable.  Usually I ended up rebooting to make the problem
reappear.  Maybe it's the dynamic virtual memory settings.
