Kelvin & Lee,
I'm running the latest SB Live drivers. Yesterday I must have run Lee's
test program over three dozen times without a crash. Yet this afternoon
I ran it four or five times and BOOM... locked up again.
I'm willing to believe it's a sound driver problem as all the lockup
problems I've had, my programs had the sound initialized (even if they
weren't actually playing a sound). Although since I'm running the
latest SB Live drivers perhaps it's more of a Java sound initialization
problem?
This is something I'm very interested in seeing resolved as the
overwhelming majority of our customers will be running Win98 with SB
Live cards.
