The whole idea of a router is sounding better.  What variables should one
look for knowing JAWS is needed to use on the computers?  Also, you've
mentioned making changes etc to it, is this done with JAWS or does it
require manual manipulation by a sighted user?

  I don't believe that they make wireless modems. There is no reason that a
  person couldn't use a router for just 1 computer, it's called planning
  ahead. Actually I also read that description of a traffic cop some where
  quite a while ago myself, but it is very accurate detailing what those
  things are used for. The only reason I jumped in at all on this thread was
  to make sure the lady knew if she needed such an animal or not. Your post
  was right on target, good job.
