Al -

I use a Linksys router and it is 100% JAWS-accessible. I don't know how
standard this is, but with the Linksys, you access all its settings by
opening either the Run dialog or Internet Explorer, then typing the router's
IP address. Dan can correct me on this, but I believe that all routers use
the same default IP address. You _will_ need to understand a bit about
networking and some of the more obscure abbreviations that are used in the
router configuration, though. There are good Internet sites for this and the
router's own documentation may be of considerable help in explaining some
things.

The whole idea of a router is sounding better. What variables should one
look for knowing JAWS is needed to use on the computers? Also, you've
mentioned making changes etc to it, is this done with JAWS or does it
require manual manipulation by a sighted user?

thanks
Al
