| Perhaps we might name it: award or letter of proficiency or special
| proficiency award/letter of merit award/letter of special
| qualifications award/letter of qualification letter of distinction
| aptitude award award/letter of competence.

Of these I like the idea of referring to it as the "LinuxCore
Qualification". This is something that we will need to take to our
advisers and international friends to ensure that what we do will be
usable in most countries.

with some really snazzy name.

I think we're more interested in functional than snazzy. In the
conventional IT certification world, the search for "snazzy" has led
to problems such as the misappropriation of the term "engineer". It's
my belief that we neither need nor want to go down that same path.
