Wow! What a great discussion! I have just a couple of comments... First, LPI should take this on.

I am having trouble comprehending this. Expanding in this area provides an opportunity to get more resources from more experts and more sponsors. For example, all the new participants will also add value to other areas of discussion. Companies that see value in these new certifications will likely add funds. With the right amount of funding, time to market is shortened. The important thing about LPI is that it is a community driven certification. The model cannot be partnered away just for the sake of having an LPI endorsement. If the private organizations don't have a mailing list like this, how can we keep the value in the certification that LPI brings? The main point here is that we trust LPI and who better to take on the developer track? I cannot think of any other organization, nor will I support any other organizations program. Okay, maybe that is a bit harsh. :) Cheers! _______________________________________________ lpi-examdev mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://list.lpi.org/mailman/listinfo/lpi-examdev
