I read a bit of your manifest, personally I found it a little confusing. My take on God is he created us with a need to know him. he made us in his likeness so we have all of his emotions, anger, compassion, jealousy, love etc. he takes an interactive interest in all of us. He is very straightforward in what he wants from us and what he expects from us. Its not a scavenger hunt where we have to go looking under rocks and here and there for the answers, I suppose its ou r nature to make it harder than it really is. Yes we need God, we need a higher power to look to in times of disaster to give us collective hope, We need God so that we have a place to go after death, it is very soothing to know that this is not all there is. We want to know that there is ultimate justice in the universe. Man blames God for all the death created in the name of God but in reality it was man who created all the death and distruction in the world and used Gods name to mask mans depths of depravity. sans the Flood etc. Man did to man horrific things period. Men like to say weak people use God as a crutch but I see no point in going along thru life if there was no God.
