[Platt] You have a narrow definition of socialism. Basically, socialism is a system that forces one person to care for another. The key word -- forces. She seemed to be saying we should take measures against war profiteers but I didn't catch any mention of socialism. Are you in favor of war profiteering? [Platt] My chart shows there has been no reduction in the poverty rate since 1970. What's the problem? [Krimel] And the amount spent of programs targeting poverty is tiny. Mission accomplished! [Krimel] So you would want to emphasize how these other countries continued to pay the cost of modern civilization throughout the 20th century, right?
