You bring up evil, Mary, reminds me of a profound insight I got from Jacques Ellul,
"make no mistake about, politics IS Satan. Don't get confused and imagine that I'm saying "politics is satanic". That's not the point at all. What I mean is, that the term "Satan" means "divider" "arguer" "accuser of the brethren" and that process is what "Satan" in true meaning is. god I hope there are no lawyers out there listening.
