Your belief in this >reality< came from Ryan's first interview on the
subject, where he said:
We have created a foundation "to support" the licenses, and a
series of mailing lists "to discuss these licenses".
Despite this reality, the notion that the FOUNDATION supports the open
gaming community as a whole is rampant - even on this list (arguably THE
MOST INFORMED PEOPLE ON THE SUBJECT) This is symptomatic of (if not active
mis-representation) then of passive neglect to CORRECT public mis-perception
- to my mind, tantamount to the same thing.
This is the only thing I object to - and is what I am protesting.
I believe the OGF website should clearly state its real purpose.
