'Product Identity' CAN be closed, but does not NEED to be closed. The draft D20 STL contains significant material that could be considered product identity under the terms of the OGL, but which is not closed. Presumably, the spell sections from the PHB, the magic items (except maybe the assorted Vecna kibble and the like?) from the DMG, and the bulk of the MM will all be open, even though a lot of it COULD be closed as 'product identity'. ------------- For more information, please link to www.opengamingfoundation.org
