I still do not see the difference between OGC, D20, and another game systemNo, I buy certain _D&D_ products if the OGC isn't there. These are limited, so far, to adventures I can use, Forgotten Realms material that wouldn't be open anyway, and rulebooks that have a reasonable expectation of becoming open before 4th edition. (Other d20 books that aren't OGL--Star Wars, Hackmaster, etc.--are evaluated just like D&D books.)
or game type. You admit you buy certain D20 products even if the OGC isn't
there, but...
For non-D&D, non-d20 games, like Storyteller, FUDGE, GURPS, etc, I buy them sparingly and the lack of OGL doesn't really influence me. If one of those systems WAS to open itself up, I might pick it up a lot faster--but that's only a hypothetical.
For "d20" books that use the OGL and include the OGL, I always check the PI and OGC designations (and the Section 15), and if they aren't done properly, I put the book down and look for something else.
