DeRobertis : It's probably illegal in Europe with that data access law.
I'm not sure about the US, though. It's probably illagal in some
states. And probably in quite a few countries.

Alain : It goes without saying that we will not do anything illegal. I
had heard of these practices and the recent MS offering of
automatically updating at a distance. I wanted to know more about it.
Whether it was legal or not, for example. Are we just assuming that
this practice is illegal? Inquiring minds would like to know!
