Thanks for all the responses. I going for SBC/Yahoo DSL pitch. One responder recommended cable as an alternative. The local community based utilities company which also supplies the electricity and water is starting a cable TV/Internet operation in direct competition with Comcast (the monopoly supplier here) so I figure in a year which is the minimum contract with SBC I may switch to my local utility and at least to rid myself of Comcast TV and most likely sign on for their Internet service as well. One last question. Can I use the network I have in place on 10 BaseT and just plug in the DSL modem into the hub or do I need to get a router. Only four Macs need the Internet connection. I found a Mac compatible Linksys router (cable and DSL) with a four port switch in the $60 range. Should I buy it?
