I'm getting there! Do understand the updates on other-than Virus Defs.
Still one point of confusion--what does the following statement mean: "You do not want to intall a new program than an older program."
I have burnt NAV2004 to a CD, but have not removed it yet. Want to be sure.

You do not want to intall a new program than an older program. This could cause problems with the newer program (newer program being NAV 2004). Note the Norton Products share files.
