Move up to Vista or Windows 7 and you're likely to have that problem,
unless you replace any scanner, printer, etc., that's more than a year or
two old. The cheaper the product in question, the more likely you are to
have the problem. Scanners, in particular, seem to suffer this issue. I
haven't even bothered to try to move my Canon FS4000US USB film scanner.
I'm anticipating that my Epson 2450 scanner might be SOL, but I'm hoping
not. I haven't really started to research Win7 yet, and am still running 32
bit XP.
I don't have a lot hanging off my computer, the Epson 4800, the flatbed, the
tablet and Eye1 is about it. I'm confident about everything but the scanner.
