Chris, it's because some people enjoy the power trip they get by trapping some poor sap behind the counter in a store and then being a total asshole to them. For them, resolving the problem is not the goal. The goal is to try to goad the service person into a conflict. Once they have acomplished that goal, they have the pleasure of escalating the situation to the management level, where they can then demand all sorts of freebies as way of apology for the situation that they provoked. They enjoy the dehumanization of the person they are dealing with. They don't want to deal with people, they want to deal with little automaton ass kissers. Anyone who gets a kick out of making service people look like an idiot is pretty much a complete fuckhead, in my books, no matter what the situation. Oh, if you don't like my choice of words, then fuck off and die. I don't do creeps who try to make me look like an idiot in public for 20 bucks worth of flowers. Thats just being a cheap whore. Nothing to respect there. William Robb Sorry Phyllis. - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. To unsubscribe, go to http://www.pdml.net and follow the directions.
