Seriously, Sebastian, if the only reason you're staying with PHP is the community experience, and from a technology standpoint you want Java, please don't try to force that vision and make PHP what it isn't. Don't get this the wrong way - I'm not trying to push you away from PHP, but I reject the attempt to make PHP a flavor of Java, just so that you (or others) can stay within the community. PHP can become stronger, but it will NEVER make a shift and become Java. PHP is PHP, and it's going to stay PHP, with all the benefits and drawbacks that includes.
